ANOTHER DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP. OUTSTANDING EFFORT 

BY THE DEFENSE AS THEY HELD THE HIGH POWERED BELLVILLE

OFFENSE TO JUST TWO FIELD GOALS. THIS IS AN OPEN WEEK

WITH THE REGULAR SEASON FINALE ON FRIDAY NOV 4TH AGAINST

THE ROYAL FALCONS IN BROOKSHIRE.

    LADY TIGERS VOLLEYBALL ENDS ON THE ROAD AGAINST TOMBALL

MEMORIAL.. THE GIRLS LOST IN FOUR GAMES. THEY WON THE SECOND

GAME WHILE LOSING THREE. ALL BY CLOSE SCORES.  THE LADY TIGERS

FINISHED IN FOURTH PLACE IN DISTRICT AND WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR

THE POST SEASON. THE LADY TIGERS PLAYED HARD ALL SEASON BUT

IN A DISTRICT DOMINATED BY COLUMBUS AND BELLVILLE IT WAS TO

MUCH TO OVERCOME. GOOD LUCK TO THE GIRLS NEXT SEASON

    THE TIGER JR HIGH FOOTBALL TEAM LOST 3 OF 4 GAMES AGAINST

BELLVILLE. FINAL GAMES ARE OCTOBER 27TH AGAINST WARTON

AND NOVEMBER 3 AGAINST ROYAL.

Sealy Tiger Cross Country Sends Two to Regionals

    Sealy Cross Country Coach Juan Perez took 24 long distance runners to Bellville on October 26 for the District 24 3-A meet.  The Tigers and Lady Tigers each placed one runner in Regional competition, to be held in Humble on November 5.


    Running for the Tigers will be Eduardo Ortiz, who finished at 17:38 in District.  Charolette Janicek took a Regional spot for the Lady Tigers, running at 14:44.


    Other runners for the Tiger Varsity were Carlos Rodriguez at 19:22; Eric Hernandez at 20:11; Moises Amador at 20:19; Luis Chavez at 20:21; Eric De Hoyos at 23:31; and Giancarlo Santana went 0:00.


    For the Tiger Junior Varsity, Andres Guerrero finished at 20:00; Jose Vidal at 20:34; Francisco Regalado at 21:36; Martin Rivera at 21:58; Jonathan Lozano at 22:09; Michael Guerrero at 22:13; and Uriel Guerrero at 23:48.


    In the Women’s Varsity race, Kendall Wickens came in at 15:39; Sarah Page at 16:19; Fallion Foster-Nunn at 17:03; Evelyn Cerda at 17:32; Briley Mlcak at 18:16; and Ashley Straker posted 0:00.


    The Lady Tigers had only three runners in the Junior Varsity race, as Elvia Rojo came in at 17:45; Betzabel Santana at 19:07; and Tania Martinez at 25:27.


    The Tiger Varsity finished fifth, Tiger JV was second, Lady Tiger Varsity came fourth and the Lady Tiger JV was sixth.

Tiger Varsity Baseball Defeats KIPP, 19-0

    Zach Terrell hit a grand slam home run.  Dylan McCallum also hit a bomb.  McCallum and Folge combined efforts on the mound to get the Tigers another district win.  The boys are 11-6 overall and 7-2 in district.  They host Bellvill on Friday night at Mutt Field.

Tigers are in the Playoffs

     The boys are headed to A&M Consolidated HS to meet the District 23 Rockdale Tigers in the opening round of the Texas 3A Baseball Playoffs. This is a three game series with the winner advancing to the area round against Bridge City.

     First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 on Thursday May 3rd and Friday May 4th If a three game is needed it will be on Saturday May 5th at 2:00

District Champion Lady Tigers to Meet Liberty

     The Lady Tigers will travel to DeKaney HS in Houston to meet the Liberty Lady Panthers in round two action. Liberty advanced to this round by defeating Bridge City 7-4, 6-3. The winner of this one game series will meet the winner of Huffman vs Rockdale. First pitch scheduled for 7:00
